[FACT CHECK BACKUP LINK]

Made for the 48 hour Micro Jam: Platforms, with the prerequisite "indirect control". And inspired by the theme from Mini Gim: Ignite.

More abstract interpretation, no idea how it's gonna read, but I got possessed with this idea and had to make it. Platforms as in social platforms and also platform boots. Indirect control as in whatever you do it will not make an immediate change, you have to keep trying.

Art and code by me, sounds from various copyright free sites.

I'm not gonna lie, I don't really get the game...

To be clear, the concept and interface are very cool, but without goose's help I feel this is impossible and what is and isn't what you're supposed to click doesn't really make sense to me,
for example "if you hate it is true you have a lower IQ than me", you're intended to click on is for is to isn't, I clicked on "true" to make it "false"

Also I wasn't sure how to play at first so I just clicked on what seemed the most relevant to the sentence ^^'

The game looks good and runs well though

thanks for giving it a shot!

this was made in two days for a jam so i didn't have a lot of time to properly think through all the possible solutions so i might've missed something, for that one clicking "true" should've worked as well unless i messed something up on exporting, there are multiple solutions to some of them

ill definitely rework some of the statements and make the goal clearer when the jam ends

i think it comes down to how someone's logic works, people i tested this with had no issue, but i was absolutely prepared for it to not make sense to a lot of people as well, it definitely would need a lot of testing with different people for it to be more universal, but since this is just a short project i'm probably not gonna go that far

thanks for the feedback :]

No problem!

I really hope you continue working on games, even if I got confused by this one I really appreciate the original idea.

I hope you have a good day :)

I saw this game earlier, and finally got to playing it! I loved the style and the sound design, the concept for the gameplay is great! I’m sure there is some less surface-level meaning that went over my head, but I enjoyed it anyways :3

-- SMALL SPOILERS -- It was nice to see you can practically take 3 + 1 different routes, with being helpful, ignorant, halfway between ignorant and malicious and of course not creating an account at all. If you have plans for the future of this project, different end cards or something similar would be great! Also, let that poor guy out of the trash please, I'm sure they've done nothing wrong...

thank you !
yeah, for now you only see a different news post (or get banned) depending on how you do, i wanted a neutral way to end the game with an in universe reason so it could still feel like an okay experience as a jam version without making it too convoluted

for now i plan to fix some issues with clarity people are having, i might think about different endings as well, depending on my schedule, or just move onto different things, but this was fun to work on :]

no, he's paying for his crimes,,,
